The Heart Behind Grand Valley Farms
Chase’s and Robyn’s adventure began in 2017 when their paths crossed on a mountain bike trail in East Tennessee. They quickly connected over biking, water sports, and a love for the great outdoors. Having both grown up on farms, their deeply shared hearts’ desire was to live on the water and “get back to the land”. In 2018, the perfect piece of property was discovered on the French Broad River, 6.5 acres of uneven terrain and wildly overgrown with vines and trees. But Chase had a vision.
“It was a jungle. We stood at the edge of an untouched piece of land – so dense you had to carry a machete and hack a pathway just to get anywhere! What many might have seen as a thicket of chaos, we saw as the raw canvas for a dream.”
From the very first tree cut, the Grand Valley Farms vision was born. Chase continues, “Every inch of our land was hand-cleared, shaped, and molded with intention. We moved nearly 50,000 yards of earth to create what exists today – roadways, building pads, and utility infrastructure.” It took grit, sleepless nights, and no shortage of setbacks, For over 3 years the couple spent every moment of our spare time moving dirt and clearing land, but the result was worth every challenge. In October 2020 – amid covid and only 2 days after getting electricity to the barn – Chase and Robyn tied the knot at Grand Valley. They spent their wedding night on the property in a job-site trailer with no electricity or running water, yet “From that day forward, we didn’t want to leave”.

We believe food should nourish not only the body but also the soul. And this farm – our labor of love – is our way of giving back.
The Antonini’s mission has always been rooted in something simple but powerful: to grow fresh, organic fruits and vegetables and to share with the community what clean, healthy living truly looks like.
At the heart of Grand Valley Farms is Robyn’s passion for education and wellness. “This land was cultivated not just to produce food, but to serve as a space where others can learn the benefits of a clean diet and a sustainable lifestyle,” explains Robyn.
